The PATEL WEDDING MARCH 2026

From the Driver’s Seat to the Lens

There is something truly unique about experiencing a wedding from two very different perspectives simultaneously. Recently, I had the pleasure of being part of the Patel wedding—not just as a guest, but as the bus driver responsible for keeping the celebration moving, and as a photographer who couldn't help but capture the magic unfolding around me.

Looking back, this was easily the highlight of my 2026 wedding season so far. Here is a glimpse into a day defined by incredible hospitality, rich culture, and a whole lot of fun.

A Kaleidoscope of Culture

The first thing that strikes you at a Patel celebration is the color. It was a visual feast; everywhere I turned, there were deep reds, brilliant golds, and vibrant oranges. As a photographer, I was in heaven. The cultural richness was present in every detail, from the intricate attire to the traditional ceremonies that felt both grand and deeply personal.

Heartfelt Hospitality

What really stood out to me, however, wasn't just the aesthetics—it was the people. The Patel family redefined hospitality. Despite the whirlwind of their big day, they made sure I was never without a meal. Their kindness was constant, ensuring I felt like an appreciated part of the festivities rather than just someone behind the wheel or the camera.

Memorable Faces

While weddings are often a blur of introductions, a few people truly left an impression:

  • The Mother of the Groom: She was the epitome of elegance. A wonderful, grounded person who carried herself with such grace throughout the day.

  • Seito, the Sister-in-Law of the Bride: Talk about the life of the party! Seito was incredibly fun and brought an infectious energy to the room that kept everyone smiling.

The Best of Both Worlds

Stepping between my roles as a driver and wanting to take more photos. I saw the quiet, fun moments on the way to the venue and the explosive joy of the reception.

To the Patel family, thank you for welcoming me into your celebration with such open arms. Your wedding was a beautiful testament to love, tradition, and family, and it is a day I won't soon forget!
